Special Event Honors Exceptional Staff at FULafia

The Vice-Chancellor of the Federal University of Lafia (FULafia), Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, orchestrated a remarkable event to recognize and celebrate the outstanding performance of staff members from three directorates - Information Communication Technology (ICT), Management Information System (MIS), and the Centre for Open, Distance and e-Learning (CODeL) during the first semester of the 2023 Academic Session.

The gathering was not only an occasion for appreciation but also featured a book presentation to Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman by Prof. Okpeh O. Okpeh Jnr., the Director of the Centre for Leadership Studies.

Distinguished guests included Prof. Aleruchi Chuku, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Prof. Sama'ila Usman Dakyes, Deputy Vice-Chancellor for Research and Partnerships, Malam Nuradeen Abdu, the Registrar, Mr. Wilson Daniel, the Bursar, Prof. Ilemona Adofu, Director of Academic Planning, Dr. Hassan Isiaka Imam, Director of the Centre for Continuing Education and Professional Development, Prof. Blaise Gundu, Dean of Environmental Design, Mr. Adamu Add'ra, Head of Audit, and members of the e-Learning Task Force.

This special event took place at the Old Senate Chamber, located at the Permanent Site Campus of the University, on Friday, September 15, 2023.
