UNIPORT Announces Mandatory Online Course Evaluation for Students

In a memorandum signed on October 4, 2024, the University of Port Harcourt (UNIPORT) has announced the commencement of its mandatory online course evaluation exercise for all students.

The exercise, which is set to begin on Monday, October 7, 2024, is aimed at gathering student feedback on courses offered during the second semester of the 2023/2024 academic session.

The Quality Assurance and Quality Control Unit of the university, under the Vice Chancellor’s Office, emphasized that participation in the evaluation process is compulsory for all students at every level of study. The evaluation will be conducted through an online platform accessible via the university's website. Students are required to submit an evaluation form for each course taken during the semester, ensuring that no more than one form per lecturer is submitted.

To avoid confusion, the memorandum instructs students to use only their lecturers' real names on the forms. The use of nicknames will invalidate submissions. The form must be completed using a valid email account, preferably the university’s official email addresses.
