The Faculty of Science at the University of Delta, Agbor, held an orientation exercise for newly admitted students of the 2024/2025 academic session, combining guidance for academic success with recognition of exceptional student performance.

Dr. O.C. Molua, Dean of the faculty, welcomed the freshers, congratulating them for choosing the institution and urging them to prioritize their studies for a rewarding academic journey. Representing the Vice-Chancellor, Prof. Stella Chiemeke, the Academic Staff Union of Universities (ASUU) Chairman, Mr. Desmond Ekokotu, encouraged students to master time management, teamwork, and effective communication skills to excel.

The event featured lectures addressing critical topics, including ethics, attendance, dress code, drug abuse, cultism, and building a strong foundation for academic success. Notable speakers included Comrade Azani Nwabuku, Rev. Fr. Alex Okondu-Ugba, Ms. Okeoghene Ohoriemu, Dr. A.O. Ukpene, Mr. Best Ugala, and Dr. Molua.
