University of Lagos Launches Entrepreneurship Seminar Series as part of EIBIC Programme

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) is launching its Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Business Incubation Certification (EIBIC) Programme for the 2023/2024 Academic Session with a series of seminars from April 17 to April 23, 2024.

University of Lagos Launches Entrepreneurship Seminar Series as part of EIBIC Programme

The Entrepreneurship, Innovation, and Business Incubation Certification (EIBIC) Programme at the University of Lagos (UNILAG) for the 2023/2024 Academic Session is set to commence with a series of seminar sessions from April 17 to April 23, 2024. Hosted at the J.F. Ade Ajayi (Main) Auditorium, the seminars will run from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. each day.

The schedule for the EIBIC Seminar is as follows:

- Day 1: Wednesday, April 17, 2024 - Faculty of Science

- Day 2: Thursday, April 18, 2024 - Faculties of Arts and Engineering

The EIBIC Programme aims to foster an entrepreneurial mindset among students, guiding them towards becoming business owners or employers, either before or after graduation. The programme runs concurrently with students’ main courses of study, and upon graduation, participants will receive an additional certificate in Entrepreneurship.

This initiative reflects UNILAG’s commitment to equipping students with practical skills and knowledge to thrive in today’s competitive business landscape. By integrating entrepreneurship education into the academic curriculum, UNILAG seeks to empower students to seize opportunities, innovate, and contribute to economic growth and development.

The EIBIC Seminar Series serves as a platform for students to learn from industry experts, engage in interactive discussions, and gain valuable insights into various aspects of entrepreneurship, innovation, and business incubation.
