The University of Maiduguri's Directorate of Media and Information has successfully conducted a one-day training session for faculty Information Desk Officers on utilizing the newly developed online news magazine.

This platform aims to enhance the dissemination of information from various faculty departments to the general public .

The training, held on March 5, 2025, at the Deputy Vice Chancellor's Conference Hall, was facilitated by Dr. Amina Abana from the Department of Mass Communication. Dr. Abana provided valuable insights on report writing and editing, emphasizing the importance of attentive and dedicated reporting.
