The Vice Chancellor of Nnamdi Azikiwe University Awka, Anambra State, Professor Charles Okechukwu Esimone, has delivered a stern warning to newly-admitted students against engaging in examination malpractice and presenting fake certificates.

During the 2023/2024 matriculation ceremonies for fresh undergraduate students, Professor Esimone emphasized the importance of maintaining good behavior to achieve academic success and uphold the integrity of the institution.

Professor Esimone reiterated the university's zero-tolerance policy towards cultism, robbery, rape, and other deviant behaviors. He emphasized that proven cultists are promptly expelled, and other misconducts are punishable by expulsion or terms of imprisonment.

Congratulating the new students on their admission, Professor Esimone urged them to remember the purpose of their enrollment and strive to obtain a university degree. He expressed hope that their academic journey at Nnamdi Azikiwe University would culminate in successful graduation.
