VirtualTest Awards N4 Million to 50 Students Across Nigeria
VirtualTest, an academic competition supported by the Mobile Classroom App, has awarded N4 million to 50 students from various Nigerian tertiary institutions. The competition recognized top performers in four categories: Mass Communication, Political Science, Business/Public Administration, and Social Science Education.
VirtualTest, a premier academic competition for higher education students, has distributed N4 million in support funds to 50 exceptional students across Nigeria. This initiative, powered by the Mobile Classroom App, recognizes and rewards academic excellence among tertiary institution students nationwide.
The competition, which saw thousands of students participating from various Nigerian universities and colleges, highlighted outstanding performers in four key academic categories: Mass Communication, Political Science, Business/Public Administration, and Social Science Education.
Key Highlights of the VirtualTest Competition:

Top Scorers and Awards: The competition's structure saw top scorers in each category awarded N150,000, with second and third-place winners receiving N120,000 and N80,000, respectively. Additionally, high-performing students across all categories were given N50,000 each.

Mass Communication: The University of Ilorin dominated this category, with Ayomide Alabi, a 200-level student, emerging as the highest scorer. Oluwayemisi Dahunsi and Ahmad Ogunbayi, both 300-level and 200-level students respectively, followed. Notable mentions also went to students from the University of Ibadan, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ogun College of Technology, and Yaba College of Technology.

Business Administration: Rufus Olawale from Lagos State University clinched the top spot, with Ikechukwu Franklin from Kingsley Ozumba Mbadiwe University and Oshinuga Ayomide from LASU securing second and third places.

Social Science Education: Adesewa Adesanya, a 200-level student from the University of Lagos (UNILAG), emerged as the top scorer. Ganiu Adesina and Obasi Udoh were awarded second and third places, respectively.

Political Science: Samuel Okelle from Federal University Otuoke took first place, followed by Sulyman Qozeem from Usman Danfodiyo University and Abraham Emmanuel from Federal University Otuoke.
Founder Akeem Salami praised the competition's role in bridging educational gaps and motivating students. “VirtualTest is more than a competition; it’s a platform designed to enhance learning and recognize student efforts,” Salami stated. He emphasized that the Mobile Classroom App facilitates the uploading of educational content, aiding both students and lecturers in their academic endeavors.
Dr. Olusina Ajidahun, a noted content creator, lauded the innovative nature of VirtualTest. “The app offers an excellent platform for students to showcase their knowledge and encourages academic advancement in the digital era,” Ajidahun remarked.
