Oyiga Michael, a prominent analyst and alumni, has voiced serious concerns regarding the response of University of Nigeria, Nsukka (UNN) officials to the recent murder cases that have rocked the campus community.

Michael's criticism follows several distressing incidents involving students:

  • A 100-Level student who went missing after attending a chemistry practical was found dead in front of the boys' hostel.
  • A 300-Level student was tragically thrown from the top of a hotel building.
  • A 500-Level student was abducted while leaving his class to pick up a waybill.

In light of these events, Oyiga Michael has expressed frustration over the perceived lack of adequate response and action from the UNN authorities and the Students' Union Government (SUG) President.
