The Anambra State government, under the leadership of Governor Chukwuma Soludo, has approved its 2024 budget totaling N410.1 billion, themed "Changing Gears: The Transformation Agenda Begins." Among the allocations, N68.306 million has been earmarked for maintaining the state’s liaison offices in Lagos and Abuja, while N46.2 million will go towards upkeep for 264 secondary schools across the state.

Governor Soludo highlighted the state's commitment to enhancing the education sector during the Children’s Day celebration in Awka on May 27, 2024, emphasizing positive outcomes from previous investments.
