In a groundbreaking move aimed at enhancing student welfare, the Students Union Government (SUG) of Abubakar Tafawa Balewa University (ATBU), Bauchi, is pleased to announce the commencement of free university shuttle bus services for students.

Effective Date: January 15, 2024, starting at 9 am.
Duration: Initial two weeks (Subject to evaluation for continuity).
Bus Types: Blue bus (90 students capacity) and white bus (50 students capacity).
Frequency: 12 scheduled trips per day between campuses.

Free of Charge: The shuttle bus services will be provided to students at no cost, showcasing the SUG's commitment to student welfare.

Evaluation Period: The initiative will undergo a two-week trial period, during which the maintenance and responsible use of the buses will be assessed for potential continuity.
Cooperation Requested: Students are urged to cooperate and maintain decorum during boarding and alighting processes.
Ticket Distribution: Free tickets will be available on a first-come, first-served basis at bus stops on both campuses.
