Bayero University Registry Department Hosts Inaugural Roundtable Discussion

The Registry Department of Bayero University held its first-ever Roundtable Discussion on May 21, 2025, with the theme "Best Practices in Registry Workflow Optimization: Enhancing Efficiency and Accountability."

Over 300 senior non-teaching staff attended the event, which aimed to raise awareness about roles, responsibilities, and challenges faced by Registry staff.

The Vice-Chancellor, Professor Sagir Adamu Abbas, emphasized the vital role of the Registry Department in the university's daily operations and urged staff to adopt innovative ideas and modern technological best practices. He also highlighted the university's commitment to supporting non-teaching staff through training, capacity building, and digital transformation.

The Registrar, Haruna Aliyu, stated that the roundtable discussion aimed to bring together key directorates and units within the Registry Department to explain their roles and functions. He commended the Vice-Chancellor for creating an enabling environment for non-teaching staff to thrive.

 

The event provided a platform for constructive dialogue, knowledge sharing, and collaborative brainstorming to promote excellence and best practices in university administration. The university's management is committed to supporting staff development and digital transformation.
