UNICAL SUG President Launches 30 Days Skills Empowerment Project
This initiative, in collaboration with the Offiong Ikpeme Foundation, aims to equip students with practical skills and knowledge to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities
The Students’ Union Government (SUG) of the University of Calabar (UNICAL) has announced the commencement of the Offiong Ikpeme Foundation 30 Days Skills Empowerment Project. This initiative, in collaboration with the Offiong Ikpeme Foundation, aims to equip students with practical skills and knowledge to enhance their employability and entrepreneurial capabilities.
The 30 Days Skills Empowerment Project, which began on Tuesday, August 27, 2024, will feature expert trainers and facilitators who will impart valuable skills in areas such as entrepreneurship, leadership, digital marketing, and more. This project is open to all UNICAL students, and participation is highly encouraged.
“We are committed to empowering our students with the skills and knowledge necessary to succeed in today’s competitive world,” said Comr. Blessing Alims, SUG President, UNICAL. “We believe that this project will have a positive impact on our students’ lives and the community at large.”
