The Federal University Otuoke (FUOTUOKE), established in 2011 in Bayelsa State, Nigeria, invites qualified candidates to apply for senior staff positions.
The University caters to both full-time and part-time students, with a student population exceeding 17,000 and a staff strength of over 2,000.
Available Positions:

Director of Health Services
- Qualifications: M.B.B.S., B.D.S., or equivalent medical degree; NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption; SSCE/NECO/WASSC/GCE O’Level credit in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics. Fellowship of the National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria (or equivalent) is mandatory. Higher degrees are advantageous. Must be registered with the Medical and Dental Council of Nigeria.
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years post-qualification experience in clinical medicine and public health in a comparable health institution.
- Other Requirements: ICT competence; maximum age 60 years at assumption of duty.
- Remuneration: As per Federal University Directors of Health Services and relevant Federal Government/University Governing Council guidelines.

Chief Legal Officer
- Qualifications: L.L.B., BL; NYSC Discharge Certificate or Exemption; SSCE/NECO/WASSC/GCE O’Level credit in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years post-call to the Nigerian Bar.
- Other Requirements: As contained in FUOTUOKE Senior Staff Rules & Regulations 2023.

Deputy Director, Public Relations
- Qualifications: Good Honours Degree in Mass Communication, English Studies, or relevant Humanities/Social Sciences field; NYSC Certificate or Exemption; SSCE/NECO/WASSC/GCE O’Level credit in five subjects including English Language and Mathematics.
- Experience: Minimum of 12 years cognate experience; registered member of the Nigeria Institute of Public Relations (NIPR).
- Other Requirements: As contained in FUOTUOKE Senior Staff Rules & Regulations 2023.
