The Federal University of Agriculture, Abeokuta (FUNAAB) has achieved a significant milestone with the elevation of its Communication and General Studies Department (CGNS) to an Institute, following approval by the Governing Council on August 20, 2024. The development, announced by the Ag. Registrar, Mrs. Oluwatoyin Dawodu, marks a new chapter for the Department and the University.

This upgrade will enhance students’ career prospects, enable the Institute to offer specialized certificates and programmes, and strengthen professional collaborations, boosting FUNAAB’s reputation for academic excellence.
