Gombe State University Registry Hosts Orientation for New Staff

The Registry Unit of Gombe State University (GSU) recently organized a comprehensive orientation program for newly employed and converted non-teaching staff.

The event, held at the NITDA Park, aimed to equip new administrative staff with essential knowledge of the university's structure, expectations, and core values.

The Deputy Vice-Chancellor (Administration), Professor Danladi Mohammed Umar, emphasized the importance of discipline, confidentiality, and integrity in the discharge of duties. The University Registrar, Dr. Abubakar Aliyu Bafeto, delivered a keynote presentation on the university's organizational structure and roles and responsibilities.

The orientation program featured insightful sessions on practical knowledge, career growth, and best practices. The newly inducted staff pledged their loyalty and commitment to the university's values and goals. The event concluded with a vote of thanks and a reaffirmation of the university's plan to institutionalize periodic staff development programs.
