St Anne’s School Shines in 2023 International Queen’s Essay Competition

St. Anne’s School in Ibadan has once again demonstrated academic excellence by securing two bronze and two silver medals in the prestigious 2023 International Queen’s Essay competition. The competition, open to secondary schools in Commonwealth countries, witnessed St. Anne’s School making remarkable strides since joining in 2021.
In 2021, the school clinched one gold and one silver medal, followed by an impressive performance the next year with three bronze and two silver medals. The latest achievement brings the total medal count for St. Anne’s School to an outstanding 11 medals: one gold, five silver, and five bronze.

Dr. Savage Olasunmbo Ajoke, one of the principals at St. Anne’s School, lauded the visionary leadership of SSASOGA, citing their impactful contributions to the school's development. She specifically mentioned Lady Similola Oluwa Onabanjo, the team leader of SSASOGA, for her substantial contributions to infrastructure development, scholarships, and the School on Air program aimed at promoting academic excellence.

Pastor Mrs. Adeola Bamgbose, the national chairman of the Education Committee at SSASOGA, expressed satisfaction with the outstanding performances of students since the school joined the competition in 2021. She commended the management and teaching staff for their cooperation and contributions to the growth of St. Anne’s School.
