TETFund Pledges Increased Intervention in Plateau Tertiary Institutions

The Tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFund) has committed to enhancing its support to tertiary institutions in Plateau State, according to the Executive Secretary, Sonny Echono. During a courtesy visit by Plateau State Governor, Caleb Mutfwang, Echono assured of increased intervention projects in the state, noting improvements in project delivery in Plateau.

Governor Mutfwang commended TETFund for its interventions in higher education institutions in Plateau and visited TETFund to express gratitude and request additional projects. He emphasized the importance of TETFund in educational development and acknowledged past support received by state-owned institutions such as Plateau State University, Plateau State Polytechnic, and Plateau State College of Education in Gindiri, as well as federal institutions like the University of Jos, FCE Pankshin, and the College of Veterinary Services in Vom.

The collaboration between TETFund and Plateau State signifies a concerted effort to enhance educational infrastructure and resources, demonstrating a commitment to improving access to quality education in the state.
