UNILAG Opens Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer Applications for 2024/2025 Academic Session

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has launched the Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer Application process for the 2024/2025 academic session. Students wishing to transfer must meet certain criteria, including having a CGPA of at least 1.00 and possessing the required admission subjects.

The University of Lagos (UNILAG) has announced the commencement of Inter/Intra Faculty Transfer Application Forms for the 2024/2025 academic session. Students interested in transferring between or within faculties are advised to follow the outlined guidelines and application procedures.

Eligibility Criteria:

  • Applicants must have a CGPA of at least 1.00.
  • They should possess the requisite Ordinary/Advanced level subjects for the intended program.
  • Candidates must have completed a minimum of 200 level by the end of the 2023/2024 academic session.

Application Procedure:

  1. Review the eligibility guidelines thoroughly before obtaining the form.
  2. Log in to the UNILAG portal at www.unilag.edu.ng and navigate to the Inter/Intra Faculty section.
  3. Complete the preliminary form and generate the payment advice with a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) number.
  4. Pay a non-refundable fee of N20,000 at any commercial bank.
  5. Return to the portal to print the completed Inter/Intra Faculty Form.
  6. Attach your O’Level/A’Level results, statement of results, and forms signed by the current and proposed Heads of Departments (H.O.D.) and Deans.
  7. Submit four copies of the completed form and attachments to Academic Affairs, 6th Floor, Senate House, UNILAG by the deadline of Monday, August 5, 2024.

Permissible Transfer Areas:

  • From College of Medicine, Faculty of Pharmacy to Faculty of Science, Faculty of Education (various departments), and Faculty of Social Science (Department of Psychology).
  • From Faculty of Law to Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Education (various departments).
  • From Faculty of Engineering to Faculty of Management Sciences (Actuarial Science), Faculty of Education (various departments), and Faculty of Science (excluding certain departments).
  • From Faculty of Science to Faculty of Social Science (specific departments), Faculty of Management Sciences (Actuarial Science), and Faculty of Education (various departments).
  • From Faculty of Arts to Faculty of Education (Arts Education, Social Sciences Education).
  • From Faculty of Social Sciences, Faculty of Management Sciences to Faculty of Arts and Faculty of Education (various departments).
  • From Faculty of Environmental Sciences to Faculty of Education (various departments) and Faculty of Science (excluding certain departments).
