The Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Students’ Union, University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has announced strict enforcement of advertisement and publicity rules across the University community.

The Directorate of Information and Public Relations of the Students’ Union, University of Uyo (UNIUYO) has announced strict enforcement of advertisement and publicity rules across the University community.

According to the Directorate, in line with Section 15(e) of the Solidarity Constitution, it holds exclusive authority to coordinate, regulate, and supervise all banner hoisting, bill posting, and publicity activities within student spaces.

Key Directives:

  • Approval Required: No banner, poster, billboard, handbill, or publicity material may be mounted, distributed, or displayed on campus without prior approval from the Directorate.
  • Formal Requests: All advertisement or event publicity requests must be submitted to the Office of the Director for vetting, registration, and authorization.
  • Enforcement: Unauthorized materials will be removed immediately, and responsible parties notified.

The directive is issued to ensure proper coordination, accountability, and institutional order, in harmony with University Management regulations.
