A delegation from Wigwe University, Port-Harcourt, Rivers State, led by their Vice-Chancellor, Professor Miles K. Davis, embarked on a courtesy visit to Covenant University with the aim of fostering collaboration and mutual growth between the two institutions.

The meeting, held on Thursday, March 21, 2024, in the Vice-Chancellor’s conference room at Canaanland, Ota, centered on exploring various partnership opportunities to enhance educational and research endeavors.

Welcoming the delegation, the Vice-Chancellor of Covenant University, Professor Abiodun H. Adebayo, extended warm greetings and offered condolences for the loss of their late Chancellor and former Chairman of Access Holdings, Dr. Herbert Wigwe. Professor Adebayo underscored the shared vision and values between Covenant University and Wigwe University.

Dr. Mayowa Agboola, Director of Covenant Open and Distance e-Learning, showcased the institution's innovative e-learning approach and emphasized practical skill development through dedicated project laboratories and work-study programs.

He sought insights into Covenant University's successful collaborations with regulatory bodies, particularly the National Universities Commission (NUC).
