Everything You Need To Know About NOUN Operational Process

The National Open University of Nigeria (NOUN) operates through a series of steps that facilitate student learning and assessment. Here's an overview of the process:

Students are required to renew their portal registration, semester registration, courses registration, and exams registration every semester. During this period, students can also drop wrongly registered courses.

After registration, students' GST registration details are uploaded to the CEAGS portal. Students who registered GST courses must activate their portals, while all students, including those without GST courses, are required to activate their CEAGS portals to access online facilitation.

The university conducts Tutor Marked Assignments (TMAs) and Computer Marked Assignments (CMAs), as well as business plan submissions and presentations. After the assignments, students sit for Pen On Paper (POP) exams or Computer-Based Tests (CBT)/Electronic Exams (E-exams).
