Govt Trains 100 Tutors to Use Maths App

The Lagos State Government conducted training sessions for approximately 100 mathematics teachers from Junior Secondary Schools. The training focused on utilizing the Darsel Learning App to enhance the teaching process. Held at the Education Resource Centre in Ojodu, participants praised the initiative by the Lagos State Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education and Science and Technology for improving teachers' skills.
The facilitator, Wunmi Tolu-Alalade, highlighted the uniqueness of the Darsel Learning App, which provides solutions for both teachers and students. This app, introduced in 2021 following the COVID-19 pandemic, aligns with global best practices by utilizing technology to facilitate learning, especially in subjects like mathematics.
