LASU Director Urges New Part-Time Students to Shun Vices at Matriculation Ceremon
Professor Danoye Oguntola-Laguda, the Director of the Directorate of Part-Time Studies at Lagos State University (LASU), delivered a charge to newly admitted Part-Time students during their matriculation ceremony.
LASU's Directorate of Part-Time Studies, under the leadership of Professor Danoye Oguntola-Laguda, delivered a stern message to newly admitted Part-Time students, urging them to steer clear of vices, ungodly peer pressure, and depraved characters. This charge was imparted during the third matriculation ceremony of Part-Time Degree students, held on Friday, April 5, 2024, at the Buba Marwa Auditorium, main campus, Ojo, Lagos.

Professor Oguntola-Laguda emphasized the Directorate's commitment to supporting the success of its students while encouraging them to reciprocate by demonstrating diligence, focus, and dedication to their studies.
Representing the Vice Chancellor, Professor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello, Professor Olufunsho Omobitan, the Deputy Vice Chancellor (Academic), congratulated the matriculating students for choosing Lagos State University as their institution of higher learning. Professor Olatunji-Bello urged the students to maximize their time at LASU, utilize available resources, engage in meaningful interactions with peers, participate in extracurricular activities, and strive for academic excellence.

The University Registrar, Mr. Emmanuel A. Fanu, presided over the ceremony, which saw the attendance of University Management, staff, students, parents, and well-wishers.
