LASU Hosts Ministry of Tertiary Education Officials for Pre-Accreditation Assessment
Lagos State University (LASU) welcomed officials from the Ministry of Tertiary Education (MTE) on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, for a crucial pre-accreditation evaluation. Led by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Professor Adenike Omotunde Boyo, the university received the delegation to assess its readiness for upcoming accreditation processes, with notable university officials present.

Lagos State University (LASU) marked a significant milestone on Thursday, March 7th, 2024, as it hosted a team of officials from the Ministry of Tertiary Education (MTE) for a pivotal pre-accreditation assessment. The visit aimed to evaluate LASU's preparedness for imminent accreditation exercises, signaling the university's commitment to maintaining academic standards and excellence.

Deputy Vice-Chancellor Administration, Professor Adenike Omotunde Boyo, represented LASU's leadership in welcoming the MTE delegation. Professor Boyo, standing in for Vice-Chancellor Professor Ibiyemi Ibilola Olatunji-Bello, mni, NPOM, conveyed the university's readiness to undergo scrutiny and affirmed its dedication to meeting accreditation requirements.
Accompanying Professor Boyo were other key university officials, including Registrar Mr. Emmanuel A. Fanu, University Bursar Mr. Said Babatunde Olayinka, FCA, and Director of the Directorate of Special Interventions, Prof. Oseni Taiwo Afisi. Together, they extended a warm reception to the MTE representatives, underscoring LASU's collaborative spirit and commitment to transparency in the accreditation process.
