UNILAG NANVIS Hosts M.A.D. 2024: Advocating for Visually Impaired Students

The National Association of Nigerian Visually Impaired Students at the University of Lagos (NANVIS-UNILAG) invites the university community and the general public to its annual advocacy event, "Making A Difference (M.A.D.), Breaking Boundaries, and Exceeding Societal Stereotypes," scheduled for Friday, July 12, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The event will take place at the Tayo Aderinokun Lecture Theatre, UNILAG.

Keynote speakers include Dr. Festus Oshoba, President of the Ophthalmologist Society of Nigeria, who will discuss “Ways to Keep Your Sight in Form,” and Prof. Oye Oyewo, SAN, Attorney General and Commissioner for Justice in Oyo State, who will speak on “Make a Difference.” Additional speakers are Mrs. Akhere Marian Akran, Founder of the Agatha Obiageli Aghedo Memorial Foundation, and Dr. S. O. Adeniyi from the Department of Educational Foundations at UNILAG.
