Addressing the theme, "Strengthening University Culture: Making the Universities Great," Prof. Ogunsola acknowledged the challenges faced by the academic community due to government policies but commended their resilience amidst adversity. She advocated for collaboration between government, stakeholders, and academia to drive policies and infrastructural development that support groundbreaking research and national progress.
Highlighting the evolving nature of the education sector, Prof. Ogunsola cautioned against the growing disparity between academic qualifications and industry skills.
