University of Maiduguri Announces 2025 Staff Audit Exercise

The University of Maiduguri has announced the commencement of its 2025 Staff Audit Exercise, aimed at ensuring the accuracy of staff records and compliance with organizational requirements.

The exercise, scheduled to begin on December 16, 2024, will involve the collection and verification of staff data. Faculty officers, administrative secretaries, or secretaries will be responsible for collecting audit forms on behalf of staff within their respective faculties, departments, divisions, centers, and units.

Completed forms must be submitted to the Directorate of Human Resources for signing before being forwarded to the Directorate of Internal Audit for verification. The deadline for submission is January 31, 2025.

The university management has emphasized the importance of participating in the audit exercise, warning that failure to comply may result in strict measures. All staff members are advised to adhere to the exercise to ensure the accuracy and integrity of staff records.
