Abia State Launches In-School Deworming Program for 60,000 Pupils

The Abia State Government commenced its In-School Deworming Programme on Tuesday, targeting 60,000 pupils in both public and private schools. Mrs. Priscila Otti, the wife of the Abia State Governor, emphasized the proactive nature of the program in safeguarding the health of children in Abia. The initiative is set to begin in six local government areas.

Mrs. Priscila Otti stated, "By providing regular deworming treatments in our schools, we are taking a significant step towards protecting our children from the harmful effects of these parasites."
