The Director of CEDS, Professor David Ugal, while welcoming members to the programme said that the 2024 ESP 311 exhibition exercise of the centre has trained students in 30 different skills.

Ugal observed that the high level of unemployment and unemployability among Nigerian university graduates was worrisome.

“Exposing students to entrepreneurship training will give them more opportunities to exhibit their innate creativity, and give them higher self-esteem and a sense of control over their lives,’’ Ugal stated.

The Deputy Director of the centre, Dr. Abdulkarim Muhammed Hamza, while appreciating those who graced the event, said that the presence of the vice-chancellor added colours to the event.

The event showcased different products and services produced by the students.
