Governor Seyi Makinde of Oyo State has given the green light for the recruitment of 7,000 teachers to bolster public primary schools in the state. Additionally, the government has sanctioned the hiring of 100 caregivers for special schools across Oyo State.

Nureni Adeniran, the Chairman of the Oyo State Universal Basic Education Board (SUBEB), made this announcement during a press conference in Ibadan on Friday. Adeniran emphasized that this move is in line with Governor Makinde's campaign promise and addresses the desires of the state's populace.
