UI Distance Learning Centre Announces Resumption Date

The University of Ibadan’s Distance Learning Centre (UI DLC) has announced that new and returning students will resume on September 2, 2024. Prof. Babatunde Omobowale, the Centre’s Director, highlighted the flexible and accessible nature of UI's open, online, and blended learning experience.

UI Distance Learning Centre Announces Resumption Date

The University of Ibadan’s Distance Learning Centre (UI DLC) has announced that new and returning students will resume on September 2, 2024. According to Prof. Babatunde Omobowale, Director of UI DLC, the Centre provides a flexible, open, online, and blended learning experience. Students can join live lectures and engage in authentic learning from any location.

UI DLC emphasizes accessibility and affordability, offering flexible payment schemes. Students pay N50,000 for registration and course activities, with the remaining fees payable before exams. Application forms are available for those with five credits in relevant WAEC/NECO subjects in one sitting or six credits in two sittings.

The Centre offers various undergraduate programs, including BSc Computer Science, BSc Economics, BSc Sociology, BSc Psychology, BSc Political Science, BA Communications and Language Arts, Bachelor of Social Work, and Bachelor of Nursing Science. Students scoring below 200 in JAMB UTME or those who did not sit for UTME can also apply.
