The National Universities Commission (NUC) has issued an urgent directive to all students who gained admission through university pre-degree programs from 2017 to 2020, requiring immediate action to regularize their admissions. Failure to comply with this directive will result in their admissions being deemed null and void.
The notice, issued by Dr. (Mrs.) Virginia E. Ironbarr, Acting Director of the Directorate of Pre-degree Programs, states that affected students must visit the Directorate’s office to submit their names and departments for regularization. The submission period is from August 8 to August 16, 2024.
“This is the final opportunity for students to ensure their admissions are properly regularized,” Dr. Ironbarr emphasized. The Directorate of Pre-degree Programs is located on the ground floor (right wing) of the CES Building, behind the University Library.
Students who have yet to complete their JAMB regularization are strongly encouraged to act promptly to avoid any disruption to their academic status. This directive underscores the importance of adhering to regulatory requirements to maintain valid university admissions.
