In response to growing concerns over student safety, the Student's Union Government (SUG) at Akanu Ibiam Federal Polytechnic has issued two crucial directives aimed at enhancing security protocols within the campus premises.

In a recent statement released by the SUG, various associations, departments, and clubs have been urged to notify the Student's Union Government through its Director of Transport prior to any vehicle entering the school premises to transport students to an event. This measure is being implemented as a proactive step to ensure enhanced security and accountability regarding student transportation.

Furthermore, the SUG has issued a stern warning to motorcyclists, tricycle operators, and shuttle bus drivers intending to access the school premises.
