FULafia Academy Holds Maiden Graduation Ceremony, Emphasizes Importance of Extra-Curricular Activities

The Federal University of Lafia (FULafia) Academy recently celebrated its first graduation ceremony, marking a significant milestone in the institution's history.

The event was chaired by the Vice Chancellor of FULafia, Prof. Shehu Abdul Rahman, who emphasized the importance of extra-curricular activities in building social skills.

Prof. Abdul Rahman stressed that "knowledge, character, wisdom, and social skills are the pillars of sound education." He urged the Academy's management to develop special activities that would help inculcate critical social skills in pupils from an early age.Dr. Usman Ibrahim, Director of FULafia Consult and the Academy, assured parents and stakeholders that FULafia Academy is committed to offering pupils a well-rounded education delivered by a dedicated team of professionals.

 Guests were entertained by pupils through spoken word poetry, dance, and a lively debate on the topic "Should pupils be given homework every day?" which sparked diverse opinions among debaters and dignitaries.

Outstanding pupils and staff members received awards in recognition of their excellence and dedication.
