Lagos State University (LASU) has embraced technology to improve its pedagogy, adopting hybrid teaching for general courses. Vice-Chancellor Ibiyemi Olatunji-Bello announced this at the university's 27th convocation lecture on Tuesday.

The innovative approach allows students to access lectures from anywhere on campus, reducing the need for crowded classrooms. LASU has also implemented virtual examinations, earning recognition as the most digitally advanced state university in Nigeria.
According to the Vice - Chancellor, technology has enhanced learning and service delivery experiences without compromising staff jobs or student learning. She emphasized the importance of balancing technology with humanity to improve lives and harness its power.
