The targeted positions include those for the Post Primary School Service Commission (PPSSC) and the State Universal Basic Education Board (ASUBEB).

The CBT tests are being conducted in collaboration with the State ICT Agency, reflecting the government's commitment to integrating technology into the education sector. Technical staff from the ICT Agency verified applicants using their national identity cards and examination slips, ensuring a smooth entry into the examination halls.

The examination, held at various centers in Awka, commenced as early as 7 am, with the entire process taking approximately 30 minutes. The seamless exercise aimed to identify qualified candidates equipped with digital skills, aligning with the governor's vision of fostering digital schools in the state.

Dr. Vera Nkiru Nwadinobi, the ASUBEB Chairman, revealed that over 19,500 applications were received through the online portal. The applicants were organized into batches for the CBT examination, emphasizing the governor's strategy to address the shortage of teachers in remote communities.
