Bayero University Kano Subscribes to Turnitin Plagiarism Detection Software

Bayero University, Kano, has announced its subscription to Turnitin plagiarism detection software, a tool designed to promote academic integrity and honesty among students and faculty members. The software will be used to check academic works for originality and authenticity.

Compares submitted works against a vast database of academic and online content to identify potential plagiarism.

Generates detailed reports highlighting possible plagiarism, improper quotations, and paraphrasing issues.

Assesses the accuracy and consistency of citations and references.

The university's subscription to Turnitin aims to:

To facilitate the use of Turnitin, Deans and Heads of Department are requested to submit the full names and official email addresses of their faculty members to the Head, Information and Communication Technology (ICT) Department, University Library.
