The memo, signed by Deputy Vice-Chancellor Sani Ahmed Yauta, PhD, outlined the approved procedure for the publication of results following the directive of Vice-Chancellor Professor Aliyu Usman El-Nafaty. It stated that results will now bear the inscription "SUBJECT TO SENATE APPROVAL" as a watermark after the Senate Business Committee (SBC) meeting.

This measure aims to facilitate a stage for potential corrections, clarifications, and modifications before the final approval by the Senate. The implementation of this watermark allows for a pre-approval review, ensuring accuracy and addressing any discrepancies found in the results.

However, it was explicitly emphasized in the memo that any adjustments or modifications after the Senate's approval will not be accommodated.

This proactive step taken by the university administration underlines a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of accuracy and credibility in academic assessments. It offers a systematic approach to ensure the quality and accuracy of published results, allowing for necessary corrections within a designated framework.
