MTU Chancellor Charges 2025 Graduands on Integrity, Purposeful Leadership and National Responsibility

The Chancellor of Mountain Top University and Professor of Biotechnology, Dr. D.K. Olukoya, has urged members of the Class of 2025 to uphold the values of academic excellence, godly character, discipline, service, and purposeful leadership instilled in them by the institution.

Delivering his address at the university’s 7th Convocation Ceremony, Dr. Olukoya reminded the graduands that convocation marks the beginning of greater responsibility rather than the end of academic pursuit, stressing that society will now place higher demands on their lives, choices, and conduct.

He cautioned against compromising integrity in pursuit of opportunities, urging the graduates to remain principled and solution-driven in all spheres of life. According to him, impatience remains a major threat to destiny, and graduates must resist the pressure to conform to negative societal trends.
