NSUK and NITDA Strengthen Digital Collaboration

Nasarawa State University, Keffi (NSUK) and the National Information Technology Development Agency (NITDA) have reaffirmed their commitment to advancing digital literacy, research, and technological innovation.

 

The Vice-Chancellor of NSUK, Professor Sa'adatu Hassan Liman, recently paid a courtesy visit to the Director-General of NITDA, Inuwa Kashifu Abdullahi, to express gratitude for NITDA's support in enhancing digital literacy at NSUK .

The university has benefited from NITDA's interventions, including a year of free internet service and the establishment of a Digital Learning Centre at the Gudi Campus. NSUK aims to establish a Centre of Excellence in Robotics and Artificial Intelligence (CRAIS) to further solidify its position in digital literacy.

NITDA has invited NSUK to partner in designing a roadmap for exploratory research utilizing robotics and AI. The agency also extended an invitation for NSUK to participate in the upcoming International Conference on Theory and Practice of Electronic Governance (ICEGOV) in Abuja, Nigeria .

 

The collaboration between NSUK and NITDA underscores their commitment to driving technological innovation for national development. The partnership is expected to accelerate digital transformation, empower students with future-ready skills, and contribute significantly to Nigeria's digital economy .
