The Executive Secretary of the National Universities Commission (NUC), Mr. Chris Maiyaki, has pledged to oversee the effective implementation of the new Core Curriculum and Minimum Academic Standards (CCMAS) in Nigerian universities. Speaking at the NUC-British Council workshop on 'Enhancing Curriculum and Pedagogical Approaches,' Maiyaki emphasized the importance of continuously re-evaluating and updating university curricula to meet the demands of the contemporary world.

Highlighting the significance of curriculum reform in response to evolving global challenges, Maiyaki stressed the need for Nigerian universities to adapt to the fast-changing landscape of education.
