In a strategic move to bolster its international presence and enhance academic excellence, Chukwuemeka Odumegwu Ojukwu University (COOU), Anambra, has forged a significant partnership with the University of Lincoln and Sydney Success College at the prestigious University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom (UK).

Dr. Harrison Mmadubueze, the Public Relations Officer for COOU, announced the partnership in a statement released on Thursday in Awka. This collaboration aims to establish a framework for mutually beneficial cooperation, focusing on integrating innovative teaching tools and methodologies to benefit both institutions.

The statement highlighted the recent visit of Acting Vice Chancellor, Professor Kate Azuka Omenugha, to the University of Lincoln and Sydney Success College at Cambridge. During her visit, Professor Omenugha engaged in productive discussions to explore linkages and collaboration opportunities across various fields, including Artificial Intelligence, Economics, and Culture & Heritage Studies.

“These international academic engagements are already yielding promising results,” Dr. Mmadubueze noted. He pointed out that Dr. Chukwunonso Ekesiobi, Associate Director of the COOU Research Management Office and a member of the COOU Economics Department, recently held a virtual conversation with Dr. Charles Roddie from Sydney Success College, Cambridge, and Saïd Business School, Oxford. Dr. Roddie, also the CEO of SUMMATIC, a platform designed to enhance student learning experiences, discussed integrating advanced learning technologies to benefit both institutions.
